What does OBO stand for?
OBO strives to create a fairer world in the consumer goods industry for our manufacturers and employees by adhering to the principles of fair trade. We are committed to dialogue, transparency, mindfulness, and respect for all our fellow human beings.
Dialogue | Transparency | Mindfulness | Respect

The name history
Like the traditional stone men known as obos in the Himalayas, our jewelry label Obo is a guide . But instead of leading through impassable terrain, we point the way to a future characterized by fairness, transparency, and sustainability. Our mission is clear: We combine high-quality craftsmanship with the core values of fair trade—dialogue, clarity, mindfulness, and respect. Obo stands for authentic collaboration with our partners in Nepal and transparent production processes. We have nothing to hide because our path is one of honesty and sustainable cooperation—and we are delighted that you are walking this path with us.

The creations
We specialize in jewelry and fashion accessories. Our earrings are highly sought-after, made of either gold-plated brass or sterling silver, and with or without semiprecious stones. Bracelets with glass, brass, or silver beads are available in a variety of colors that bring joy to everyone who wears them.

Our passion
Obo is a jewelry label based in Zurich. We have made it our mission to create delicate and distinctive pieces of jewelry from a combination of high-quality materials. With the help of two workshops in Nepal, the pieces are manufactured under fair conditions and at reasonable prices for our customers.

Creativity & Design
Creative expression through unique and timeless design is an essential part of the mission. Obo strives to create aesthetic pieces of jewelry that emphasize personality and individuality.
